Lightwork has been helping people learn meditation and energy healing since 1996. We are a vibrant community where you can take classes; receive energy readings and healings; and attend events, workshops and retreats. This is a welcoming, open-door community.
Beginners and Experienced Meditators Alike
Lightwork is a distinct style of meditation featuring a sequence of techniques that help you become more centered, grounded and energized. You can use these techniques to make big shifts in your life, and to relax and let go.
Lightwork can be a fit for newcomers and people with meditation experience. No experience is necessary. Even people with years of prior experience discover new techniques and information in Lightwork Level 1 and the subsequent levels.

Lightwork Level 1
In the Lightwork Level 1 class series, you learn to use meditation to recharge your energy and turn up your personal power with the Lightwork meditation sequence. You gain a complete set of techniques to meditate on your own, allowing you to weave meditation into a regular routine. This powerful series gives you skills you can use for the rest of your life.
More Lightwork Levels
For those that would like more, Lightwork offers six additional levels of meditation classes that you can move through at your own pace. With each level, you advance your meditation skills and hone your ability to take care of your personal energy. The deeper you go with Lightwork meditation, the more it supports your life – opening up greater self-awareness, personal power and well-being. You can study at Lightwork for a few weeks, a year, a few years, or ongoing – it’s up to you.
The Graduate Community
After Level 4, you have the option to be a part of Lightwork’s Graduate Community for as long as you choose. This is a program that facilitates ongoing spiritual growth and personal development. Some people have been part of the community for more than twenty years.
Private Classes, Energy Reading-Healing and Other Sessions
You can book private meditation classes, energy readings, energy reading-healings and couples sessions. Any of these sessions can be used to support you with whatever is going on in your life. You can also gift an energy healing to someone else.
How it all started
Lightwork was founded by Scott Robinson, who has been practicing advanced meditation and energy healing for nearly 40 years. Scott brings a down-to-earth and relatable style to teaching.
His approach is grounded in principles of validation, amusement, integrity, personal choice, personal boundaries and personal freedom – creating welcoming, inclusive spaces for people from all walks of life to learn and grow.
Our Home Base
Lightwork’s home-base is on 80 acres of pristine, forested land in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Many of our teachers are based in Vancouver, as well as the interior of BC and the United States. The Lightwork community is international since all of our classes and services are available online, including our events and retreats.
